Tandoorless Tandoori Gobi Recipe

Tandoor is something that helps prepare utmost tasty dishes. But many people aren’t able to enjoy this privilege since they don’t have a tandoor. Well, it is not necessary to have one, in order to cook your favorite meals. Tandoori gobi is one such recipe that can be prepared without oven or tandoor. The right ingredients and spices are all that is required to make this awesome meal.

Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients :

Cauliflower- 1 (whole)

Yogurt- 2tbsp

Paneer- 250 gm (mashed)

Coriander Leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)

Lemon Juice- 2tbsp

Black Cardamom- 1

Green Cardamoms- 3

Oil- 1tbsp + 2tbsp

Red Chili Powder- 1tsp

Raisins- 8

Ginger- 1tsp (chopped)

Garam Masala Powder- 1tsp

Cinnamon- 2 sticks

Cloves- 3

Bay Leaves- 2

Salt- for taste

 

Steps:

1.     Add salt, bay leaves, green cardamoms, black cardamom, cinnamon and cloves to a cup of boiled water.

2.     Let the solution boil for some time. Then place the cauliflower in it.

3.     Cover the utensil, so as to allow the cauliflower to cook properly for about 10 minutes. Heat on medium flame until you find that the vegetable is cooked well.

4.     Now start adding the other ingredients to it. Add the minced paneer, salt, lemon juice, oil, yogurt, ginger, raisins, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.

5.     Cover the ingredients and for 20 minutes, cook on a low flame.

6.     Sprinkle the coriander leaves on the cauliflower only after the cooking is complete.

7.      Tandoori cauliflower is all set to be served. Cut the cauliflower into pieces and serve with chutney.

Tip
