4. Nicotine replacement therapy – one of the trials of quitting are the withdrawal symptoms. Therefore, nicotine replacement therapies are a good idea. They supply a lower but constant amount of nicotine to the body, thus helping you to gradually quit.

5. Avoiding temptations – in order to quit, it is a good idea to free the home, office and car free of triggers that might get you back into the habit. Throw away the empty packs, cigarettes, lighters and ashtrays which might give you the urge to smoke.
