Foods that can fight breast cancer

Breast cancer is one of the deadly diseases that is common in recent times and for that reason it is important to ensure that the foods that are taken are good enough and proper care is taken. Here are some lists of foods that are effective against breast cancer:

  •   Pomegranate which is red juicy fruit not only prevents but also helps fight breast cancer. To protect yourself or fight breast cancer, you must include this fruit in your diet.
  •   Spinach, turnip and collards are few dark leafy green vegetables that are rich in folate, Vitamin B and fiber which reduces the over production of estrogen and reduces breast cancer cells.

  •   Salmon fish is a healthy type of fish and it has breast cancer fighting properties. The omega-3 fatty acids in salmon reduce the growth of breast cancer cells.
  •   A Cremini, oyster and shiitake mushroom contains antioxidant L ergothioneine that lowers the formation of breast cancer cells and also protects the body from it.
  •   Broccoli sprouts is another breast cancer fighting food which contains antioxidant sulforaphane that destroys cancer cells.
  •   Lentils and beans have been known for decreasing the chances of breast cancer cells. It is rich in folate, fiber and essential nutrients that are required in a woman’s diet.
  •   Women in their pre-menopausal stage are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer. Spinach contains dietary fiber that fights breast cancer.
  •    Dairy products in a woman’s diet are very important. They are rich in calcium, iron and essential nutrients that are required by the body.
