Foods For Boosting Sperm Count


Low sperm count often becomes a cause of worry particularly for young men. The causes for ill reproductive health are many – lack of nutritious diet, unhealthy life style and habits or may be some ailment. The first thing is to visit the doctor and get a checkup.   • Pomegranate : Antioxidants is what makes this fruit capable of improving the sperm count in men. The antioxidants lower the levels of the chemical malondialidehyde present in blood. Antioxidants help in the removal of free radicals that might cause damage to sperms.
  • Beef : Zinc has a very important role to play when it comes to reproductive health in men. It affects both quality and quantity of sperms. Zinc is present in high amounts in lean meat such as beef. Zinc regulates testosterone hormone and is capable of fighting free radicals.
  • Garlic : It can very well fight free radicals. Another function is to enhance the blood flow that leads to greater blood delivered to the testicles. Vitamin B6 and selenium are known to decrease sperm damage.
